Scroll down to the map labeled “Map My Cousins - Migration Map By Generation” and click on the “More Info Button” 3. This will launch the MMC Migration Map. Click on the “Import GEDCOM File” button and select a GEDCOM file from your computer. This will create a map that looks like the following: 4. This has several important controls on it, which are labeled in the picture: a. Zoom in / out control: To drill down or out of portions of the map b. Generations menu: Click on year ranges to include / exclude family member events by generation c. Family member event: Click on the icon to find out the persons name, event type (birth, death, residence, etc) and year d. Point Of Interest (POI) search: Use this search text box to find points of interest by location. Visit the POI FAQ page for more details on how to use this advanced search option.
